IRISH DANCE


The Waikato Irish society is an inclusive organisation which endeavors to connect Irish people throughout the Waikato and showcase our Irish heritage within the community.

Fox School of Irish Dance

Fox School of Irish Dance opened in 2006 with just 3 Students. They have expanded considerably to include classes in both Tauwhare (Hamilton) and Morrinsville.


The school has students aged from 4yrs to adult, and cater for both competition and fun.


They have a close association with the local Irish community and are a part of the Auckland Irish Dancing Association and the Traditional Irish Dancing Association of NZ.

Tuesday

4-5pm Beginner Classes (Hamilton)

5-7pm Primary/Intermediation & Open Classes (Hamilton)

7-8pm Adult Classes (Hamilton)


Wednesday
3.30 to 4.30pm Beginner Classes (Morrinsville)

4.30 to 5.30pm Primary Classes (Morrinsville)


Thursday
4.00 to 6.00pm Primary/Intermediate Classes (Hamilton)


5.00 to 7.00pm Open Classes (Hamilton)

Scoil Rince Ni Ghabhann

Scoil Rince Ni Ghabhann (Formally called Waikato Celtic Arts Academy) offers Irish Dance classes in Hamilton and the Bay of Plenty. Our teachers have decades of experience teaching both Irish and Highland dancing. 

We offer competitive and non competitive classes for dancers of all ages.
 
Our performance troupe, The Reel Flames, is available for performances. The troupe performs a mix of traditional and modern Irish dance and features champion Irish Dancers.


We offer classes for children and adults and cater for dancers who want to compete, take exams or just dance for fun and fitness.


We are based at Fraser tech club rooms, our classes are on Mondays and Thursdays.
